Ads send more people to your brand. If the brand looks different on every platform, you pay to confuse them. Fix these basics first.
1. One logo, in a few versions
Keep a light-background version, a dark-background version and a simple square icon. Save them as PNG and as a vector file such as SVG. Use these files everywhere instead of screenshots.
2. Test the logo where it will actually appear
Check it on light and dark backgrounds, in black and white, and as a tiny browser icon at 16 pixels. If it turns into a blur, the icon needs a simpler shape. LogoProof shows these views from your file.
3. Write the colours down
Pick one main colour, one or two supporting colours and a neutral. Record the hex codes. Make sure text is readable on its background: aim for a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 for body text, the standard in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Hueloom builds a palette and font pairing from one colour.
4. Choose two fonts and stay with them
One for headings, one for body text. Consistency matters more than the particular fonts.
5. Match your profile images and names
Use the same name, logo and short description on your website, Instagram, WhatsApp Business and marketplace store, so people know it is the same business.
6. Check the name before you invest
A web search is not a trademark search. Before you print or advertise, search the public trademark register at IP India and talk to a trademark attorney about the classes that cover what you sell or offer.
